An accountability partnership means pairing you with a dedicated partner who supports you by listening to your goals and to-do list. Together, you'll set timeframes for achieving these tasks. This partnership ensures someone is there to guide, motivate, and help you stay on track.
In your first session, you can expect a warm and open conversation with your accountability partner, who will strive to understand not just your goals but also why they matter so much to you. This initial meeting is all about setting the stage for your success, where you'll outline what you aim to accomplish by your next session. Before wrapping up, you'll also schedule your second session. This follow-up is designed to review your progress and celebrate your achievements, helping you maintain momentum toward your larger objectives. Think of it as laying the foundation of a supportive partnership that keeps your aspirations clearly in focus.
Not at all! EchoSteps focuses on immediate tasks for the next few days or weeks, helping you achieve the goals you've already set. In contrast:

  • Therapy typically focuses on emotional and psychological healing, helping you understand and resolve issues with a licensed therapist.
  • Personal coaching typically centers on exploring strategies, setting and achieving specific goals, developing new skills, and possibly overcoming obstacles in personal or professional life.
Our service complements these by providing support and structure to help you stay on track with your daily tasks and goals. It may also serve as an entry point to support services, with a lower price point than many other providers.
You can meet with your EchoSteps accountability partner as often as you need! While we recommend scheduling sessions every 1-2 weeks to maintain momentum, our pay-as-you-go system allows you to choose the frequency that works best for you.
If you need to miss a scheduled session, simply let us know with more than 24 hours' notice, and we'll do our best to reschedule at a convenient time. It's important to keep your sessions consistent, even if you haven't met all your weekly goals, as regular check-ins are crucial for maintaining momentum and achieving your objectives.
You can work on a wide range of goals, e.g. work tasks, fitness routines, household chores, shopping, or even entrepreneurial tasks. Essentially, any activity you're struggling to prioritize or find motivation for is fair game. Our partners are here to help you stay on track with any task that needs a boost in focus and commitment.
We offer flexibility on the types of tools and can adapt to whatever system you’re used to using - Google Docs, the notes app in your phone, calendar blocks, or even traditional pen and paper. If you don’t have a preference, we tend to suggest using a shared Google Doc to start with.
EchoSteps remains affordable by keeping sessions concise - focusing on your immediate goals for the next 1-2 weeks, with sessions lasting only 10-15 minutes. For deeper work, such as addressing emotional and psychological needs or developing life strategies and skills, we refer you to specialized professionals (e.g. therapists, coaches). This focused approach allows us to provide quality support while maintaining cost-effectiveness.
We do not offer a free trial period however the cost of your first session covers the cost of your second session free of charge. We've found that committing a small amount of money to the process significantly increases the likelihood of clients attending their second session, and helps establish a foundation of commitment and motivation.
Rest assured, whenever you communicate with anyone on the EchoSteps team, you are always speaking with a real person. However we recognize that you may choose to use AI tools to help track your progress, supplement your organization efforts etc.
